    A friend who is a fluent Russian speaker visited Belarus a few years ago. He said he felt safer in Minsk than in any other city in any country.

    If Poland holds back I would imagine so would Belarus. If Poland moves so would Russia move back in around Kyiv, and there would be a second Ukrainian crisis.
