Black Sheep
Wed 1:29 pm +00:00, 14 May 2025 2Calling all black sheep…..Calling all black sheep……
I dont know about you but fighting the good fight can leave you feeling a multitude of emotions, anger, disappointment, regret and bewilderment to name a few…..
You probably took the hit throughout and after covid, I know I did. I researched the facts, I studied the lliterature and I knew from the off what a scam it was………But then I tried to inform and protect my family….and thats where the problems began.
As a person with the time and the inclination to do the research I decided early on that I would not comply with this tyranny…I would not mask, social distance or alter my lifestyle in any way. But through my association with others, namely my family I was subject to a certain degree of disruption…And a certain amount of frustration as I tried to convince family members of the dangers of compliance…..Mainly the jab.
My Mum took the jab despite my protestations, she wouldnt listen to me or heed my warnings….This left me feeling helpless and angry…..In hindsight I was proved right but its a hollow victory….A quick look around will tell you how useless but dangerous the jab was and still is……..That said I now have to find a place for my relationship with my Mum beyond my dissapointment, my anger and my ongoing fears for her health.
To that end I jointly created a song about how I felt throughout and after covid….It may resonate with you……I feel that covid was a massive event in our lifetimes and it affected us socially more than we may realise.
I love my Mum but am disappointed that she wouldnt listen to me, she let her fear guide her……..Now I have to let that go and be there for her whatever…….and rebuild my relationship
The song is called Black Sheep…….The link is below and so are the words…………..
If you’d like to use this song in any productions then please feel free to get in touch…………
“So you can block me, mock me, but nothings gonna change
You can taunt me, haunt me, play your silly games
Cos Im the black sheep…
Can you see me from your deep sleep
Im the loner, moaner, ill never be the same
So you can blame me, shame me, and call me silly names
Cos Im the black sheep…
Can you see me from your deep sleep
Black sheep, Black sheep what you gonna do
Black sheep, no ones listening to you
Your on the sidelines
You never listened to the guidelines
Im the thinker, the drinker, trying to explain
So ignore me, deplore me Im never gonna change
Im on the outside
Can you see me on the outside?
(Break)
Black sheep now your heading for the door
Black sheep things are different than before
Your on your own now
Look around your on your own now
So you can teach them preach them
Theyre never gonna change
Inform them, warn them
Theres no-one to engage
Cos you’re the black sheep
No-one hears you from their deep sleep
Black sheep, Black sheep what you gonna do
Black sheep, no ones listening to you
Your on the sidelines
You never listened to the guidelines
Im the thinker, the drinker, trying to explain
So ignore me, deplore me Im never gonna change
Im on the outside
Can you see me on the outside?
(Break)
So you can block me, mock me, nothings gonna change
Taunt me, haunt me, play your silly games
Cos Im the black sheep…
Can you see me from your deep sleep
Im the loner, moaner, ill never be the same
So you can blame me, shame me, and call me silly names
Cos Im the black sheep…
Can you see me from your deep sleep
Black sheep, Black sheep what you gonna do
Black sheep, no ones listening to you
Your on the sidelines
Never listened to the guidelines
Im the thinker, the drinker, trying to explain
So ignore me, deplore me Im never gonna change
Im on the outside
Can you see me on the outside?”

Wow. That’s good. It brings back memories of the convid times and the testing and breaking of relationships. It’s very well produced.
Great tune well done. Which reminds me, just over 2 years ago, I heard a song that had had the original lyrics changed to relate the covid story and I heard it on the State Of The Nation website. It inspired me to do something similar with the Mark Morrison song, now Return Of The Vax, the link is below. I had hoped someone would run with it and record a studio production version, when I emailed S.O.T.N. I asked them if they knew someone who could put it together, it never happened My lyrics are printed on the page and then below them, there’s is a link to listen to the YT version of the song, while reading my re edited version, enjoy.
It says near the top, submitted by JH, my initials,
