The Russians are offering to meet with Ukraine face to face to negotiate based on the Istanbul negotiations of 2022, which Boris Johnson overturned. They want to deal with the underlying causes of the conflict.
They have no respect for ultimatums issued by the weaklings of the EU. The West is desperate for a ceasefire so the West can secure their ill-gotten gains in Ukraine since 2014 when the democratically elected Ukrainian pro-Russian government was overthrown in a coup d’etat organised by the CIA/Mossad. They want to bank their gains and stop the war now.
Yet they cannot for a second stop the killing of Russians in Ukraine whether in war or in so-called peace. Russia just has to laugh and the honey-lover can grunt his rejections. The Russians havr specific war aims and these will have to be met or the fighting must go on.
