By 1978, Ruhollah Khomeini was in exile in the holy city Najaf, Iraq, from whence Saddam Hussein expelled him that same year.
In the newspaper Libération, Dominique Lorentz highlighted the fact that the Zionist West (specifically USA, France, and Britain) viewed Khomeini as a TOOL to destabilize or overthrow the Shah. Lorentz reported that the Western-Zio “intelligence” “services” relocated Khomeini to just outside Paris:

Anthony Parsons, British ambassador to Iran at the time, quoted the Shah, “If you lift up Khomeini’s beard, you will find Made in England written under his chin”.
Khomeini’s “Islamic” “revolution” was instigated by the CIA, MI6, and French-intel with the goal of controlling Iran’s energy.

In his 2007 book “The Secret War with Iran”, Dr Ronen Bergman wrote: “Another propaganda tool for Khomeini was none other than the Persian-language broadcasts of the BBC. The channel gave him a platform. The regular broadcasts made him the ‘unchallenged leader’ of the Iranian revolutionary movement”. On top of that, in his well-known Jan 1980 interview with David Frost, the Shah himself reconfirmed the BBC’s crucial role in his overthrow.
In his 2004 book, “A Century of War”, US historian F William Engdahl said the Carter Regime changed US policy toward Iran in 1978: “In Nov 1978, President Carter named the Bilderberg Group’s George Ball, another Trilateral, to head a special White House Iran task-force under the National Security Council’s [Trilateral] Brzezinski. Ball recommended that Washington drop support for the Shah of Iran and support the fundamentalist Islamic opposition of Ayatollah Khomeini. Robert Bowie from the CIA was one of the lead ‘case officers’ in the new CIA-led coup against the man their covert actions had placed in power 25 years earlier”.
In his “Hostage to Khomeini” (1981), journalist Robert Dreyfuss wrote that, already in 1975, the Club of Rome, the Aspen Institute and other “elite” think-tanks began conspiring to remove the Shah and undo his modernization plans which they saw as a threat to their power and control over the region:
“In Sep 1975, the Aspen Institute held a symposium in Persepolis, Iran. The public side of the transactions was published years later under the title ‘Iran: Past, Present and Future’.

Veteran “BBC World Affairs” editor John Simpson was with Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini onboard the historic Air France chartered flight, when he returned to Iran on 1 Feb 1979. But, many observers exposed John Simpson as a known MI6 agent.
“BBC World Affairs” is the core international “news” and geopolitical branch of BBC “News”, so it is a virtual certainty that such an editor simply MUST be MI6, on-the-square, and “establishment to the hilt”. So, an MI6 journalist accompanied Khomeini to Iran when he landed there after the Shah went into exile!
WHY THE ZIONISTS DITCHED THE SHAH
The Shah’s nationalist policies made him more popular in Iran, and made his country more independent and more powerful. This of course worried the CIA and MI6. The TOP FIVE reasons why the Zionists deposed the Shah:
1. The Shah bought land from the upper classes and, along with the crown’s own land, sold it back cheaply to tenant farmers. Between 1.5 and 2.5 million Iranian peasant families (representing about half of all rural village households or nearly 90% of sharecroppers) became landowners, thus ending the old feudal system.
2. The Shah allowed women the right to vote. He brought an end to the wearing of the veil.
3. The Shah developed plans for a 90-billion-USD nuclear-power program.
4. The Shah signed petroleum agreements with the Italian oil company Eni S.p.A.
5. The Shah began to shut down the opium industry which was created during the days of British influence.
