Rich Hall Update – Crushed by the State – Bankruptcy and loss of his home

CURRENT SITUATION – Updated 6/8/2025

On 27th May 2025 I received notice from the Court of Appeal, that my appeal had been refused by Lord Justice Stuart-Smith. This means that I cannot appeal to the Supreme Court which in turn means I have exhausted all domestic remedies to get justice.

Having exhausted all domestic remedies, I have the right to appeal to the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg whose role is to ensure that states are upholding human rights standards, and it does so by reviewing decisions of domestic courts in cases where a human right has allegedly been violated.

In my case, I believe the judgment was a clear violation of ECHR article 10, the right to freedom of expression and of article 6, the right to a fair trial.

From 27th May 2025, I have 4 months in which to submit an application to the ECHR, and on 1st July 2025 I instructed my legal team to produce an appropriate written application for consideration by the ECHR. The application is nearly completed.

The cost of the preparation of the application has been paid up front, and this was afforded by using the kind donations that are still continuing to come in from members of the public.

In the mean time, on 16th July 2025, the claimant’s solicitors served a statutory demand, which seeks a court hearing to make me bankrupt, which could then result in the selling of my home and removal of assets. A directions court hearing is to be heard, which I will be attending at Merthyr Tydfil Law Courts on Monday 18th August 2025. After this court hearing I expect there will be another court hearing at Merthyr Tydfil Law Courts to determine whether or not bankruptcy proceedings will be allowed to go ahead.

I will be arguing that the case being presented to the ECHR has at least a realistic chance of success, and therefore that all bankruptcy proceedings should be set aside until the case has been heard by the ECHR.

Thank you for the kind donations so far, the legal fund just about paid for the cost of preparing the ECHR appeal, but further funds would assist in paying for representation by my barrister at the up coming bankruptcy hearings.

If anyone wishes to support me at the Court Hearings in Merthyr I would be grateful for that too.

Stuart Smith ran the Hillsborough enquiry in Liverpool in Thatcher’s time. He must be in his nineties.

Did he now, that says it all

I knew about the Hillsborough farrago from first hand knowledge. I’d been at Hillsborough that same season watching Everton, earlier in the season. Us Blues and the Wednesday fans got on really well, all in the pub together singing and banter, no hint of trouble, just a great crack. The steel city lads were top notch, a bit like scousers

When I went into the ground, in the away end, the Leppings Lane end where the disaster happened, I was utterly shocked. First the chaotic policing, no proper queues, just a rugby scrum outside a small number of turnstiles. Scousers were used to match entrance being being properly organised by the Liverpool “bizzies” [scouse for cops] and we were amazed. The police were useless and it was chaos. We told them what we thought of them in no uncertain terms, the air was blue…

Then, inside the stadium I was horrified. There was one entrance to the main terrace behind the goal, a narrow tunnel that led into a pen with a brick wall behind it and massive metal fences on the other three sides. I took one look around and said to my mate John, I’m not staying here, it’s a death trap. Little did I know what was going to happen in the later FA cup semi final. So we went back out of tunnel, round the back of the stand and found an open terrace with several ways in/out further to the side

[We hammered the Owls too, we had a great team then, and all was well]

I was at Villa Park when the disaster happened watching Everton win their semi, with the same mate John. We came out of the stadium high as kites, turned on the car radio and our elation vanished immediately

Inevitably, they blamed the fans, but ALL us scousers KNEW the truth. We all knew first hand witnesses ,and we were all united. Blue and Red, we all knew. Nobody really expected justice either, Liverpool was beyond the Establishment Pale in those days

SlightLy moving the goal posts Pete, so to speak, do you have any opinion on your new ground being ear marked as a possible terrorist attack target. It sort of shocked me when I read it, as being possibly some sort of priming, like they usually do, they do like to tell us beforehand, don’t they. It just seemed a rather odd comment to make. In the link below, go to the last paragraph or two, below the picture of the stadium next to the river. It unsettled me a bit, when has stadium terror attacks been a thing in the UK, it’s a 2 month old article.

I bought two top dollar tickets, for myself and my son, for the very first game at the new stadium in a couple of weeks time. After a lifetime of going to matches there was no way I was going to miss that historic occasion. So I hope the terrorists stay away for the opener!

But most terrorist events are fake now aren’t they, less messy and less blowback. That recent incident in Liverpool with the guy in the car was typical. Flash in the pan headlines for a week or more then, poof, gone, forgotten, who cares

“I read it, as being possibly some sort of priming, like they usually do, they do like to tell us beforehand, don’t they.”

This alludes to the great controversy between God and Satan regarding man. The rule is that both must tell what will befall us. God has told us long ago everything that will befall us through the prophetic writings of the great and minor prophets in the Bible, while Satan tells us through cunning in the here and now by way of governments, media, movies etc and it’s for us to find and seek. In this regard Satan can always say to God that he told us so, but we couldn’t be bothered to look.

          • pete fairhurst 2 says:

Thanks Gordon, that makes sense to me, I’ve never seen it explained as clearly before. I never really understood why the Satanists had to tell us in such a hidden way. Now I know

      • Belyi says:

There was a video doing the rounds a while back on what was behind Hillsborough. They wanted stadiums to be all-seater and although something was planned to happen to show how this would be a good idea, it quickly got out of hand and went much further than programmed.

        • pete fairhurst 2 says:

I struggle with that Belyi. If you read my comment above then you will see that complacency was entrenched in the stadia and the game. Death in a stadium was not an isolated occurrence either, there were many tragedies over the years

I’ve no doubt that many events of the time led to the sanitisation of football by the higher powers. Like everything else they wanted to monetise it to the max and they’ve done that now

It was raw, and edgy and, if you weren’t savvy then, you could end up in a hot spot. But those experiences were life affirming on the whole, nothing like the roaring passion of a massive standing crowd rolling and swaying on a packed terrace. You could easily lose the buttons on your shirt, or worse. But, boy, the exhilaration. I had no hesitation in taking that risk over and over in my youthful days. Plenty of older folk in there too who felt the same

It was the fences that made such events inevitable, rather than any single incident. They made the terraces into a death trap, as was proven several times. Once the fences were up it was a matter of time, all they had to do was wait

They were completely unnecessary too, rather like the fences round all schools are now. To me they are a symbol of childhoods lost freedoms

  2. ian says:

Rich Hall produced excellent properly researched and clearly correct versions of many events. The Manchester bombing and the Madeline McCann case to name just two. If they killed him, they couldn’t take credit for it. By ruining his life, and that’s their intent, it sends a clear message to anyone else so inclined, while the sheeple will be watching , I’m a celebrity with the likes of the lovely Matt Hancock on it, and be totally absolutely non the wiser. Rich is f*cked.

    • pete fairhurst 2 says:

      Yes Ian, a clear message

His Manchester work is at the centre of all this of course. As you say, it is excellent and properly researched. But he wasn’t allowed to make a proper defence by using his work because the State “enquiry” fixed the “facts” that he wasn’t allowed to question

I hope Rich gets through this somehow. They’ve certainly silenced him for now. I just hope that they don’t succeed in crushing his spirit. I bet that they won’t too, whatever happens, he’s a very spirited guy
