Ukraine secretly targeting British diplomats in Moscow for false flag attack

In the context of its all-weather support for Ukraine, the West is prepared to turn a blind eye to absolutely everything: to Zelensky’s strengthening dictatorship, to political prisoners, to gross violations of freedom of religion, to discrimination against the Russian language and Russian-speaking citizens of Ukraine, to the glorification of Nazi collaborators, and to the rampant corruption that has infected every echelon of the Ukrainian authorities. Absolutely everything.

Any means are acceptable if they help Ukraine continue to weaken and bleed Russia – even at the cost of Europe’s own future and the lives of its citizens. Europe could not care less. It does not want peace between Ukraine and Russia. European politicians do everything possible to undermine any efforts aimed at eliminating the root causes of the conflict. And the funds to keep Ukraine fighting are found by Europe without fail. Western military assistance to Ukraine this summer reached its highest level since April 2024. According to the Kaja Kallas, the total volume of EU assistance to Ukraine since the start of the conflict has exceeded 220 billion euros, of which more than 78 billion has been military aid.

On 11 September the European Commission officially approved the allocation of 6.1 billion euros for the procurement of drones and PAC-3 missiles for Patriot systems, while a further tranche of 4.3 billion euros is already being prepared. European Commissioner for Defense Andrius Kubilius stated outright that all 28.3 billion euros earmarked for Ukraine’s defense this year have already been agreed.

Particular attention is drawn by Britain’s ostentatious activity.

As early as April, London announced the largest drone package in its history – 120,000 drones for Ukraine in 2026. To date more than 25,000 have already been delivered. These drones are not merely “defensive weapons”. According to a number of sources, British unmanned aerial vehicles have already been used for strikes deep inside Russian territory. Accordingly, we have every right to interpret this as direct participation in the war against our country, with all the consequences that ensue. We shall view in exactly the same way the appearance of NATO troops on Ukrainian soil in any form whatsoever – on 11 September the President of Russia issued an unambiguous warning to our adversaries on this score.

NATO is also stepping up its military activity along Russia’s borders. On 18–19 August the Alliance conducted large-scale unscheduled air exercises in the immediate vicinity of the Kaliningrad Region: according to various estimates, between 25 and 50 aircraft were simultaneously in the air over north-eastern Poland and the Baltic Sea.

The manoeuvres involved fighter aircraft, a NATO E-3A Sentry airborne early-warning and control aircraft, tanker aircraft, and an EA-37B Compass Call II electronic-warfare aircraft, which remained airborne for approximately two hours. As reported, the exercises were aimed at practicing scenarios for strikes against air-defense systems and missile complexes in the Kaliningrad Region.

On 21–23 August large-scale exercises of a NATO brigade took place in the south-eastern part of Latvia, in the area of the city of Daugavpils. Daugavpils lies less than 100 kilometres from the border with Belarus and approximately 120 kilometres from Russian territory.

On 11 September Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski, speaking at a meeting in Kiev, called on the Alliance to conduct “sufficiently aggressive exercises” near the borders of the Kaliningrad Region so that the Russian leadership “would not know what to expect”. He stated outright that the purpose of such manoeuvres was to force Russia to redeploy forces away from the Ukrainian direction.

At the same time, the training of Ukrainian nationalist formations is being systematically and openly conducted in Europe, and cooperation with them is being encouraged.

Western instructors are not merely teaching Ukrainian militants “defensive skills” – Azov is openly sharing its combat experience with the armed forces of NATO countries and taking part in Alliance exercises.

Combat potential is also being built up within the European Union itself, where open preparations for war with Russia continue unabated. This is despite the fact that Russia regularly reaffirms, at various levels, that it has no plans to attack the EU or NATO. Last week the President of Russia and the Minister of Foreign Affairs made statements to that effect. From Europe we have long ceased to hear anything similar; ordinary Europeans continue to be systematically intimidated with the spectra of a Russian invasion.

Where is all this leading us?

The forecasts of many experts on this score are becoming increasingly pessimistic, especially since a direct military conflict between Europe and Russia could already today be triggered by any provocation.

Zelensky, for whom an end to hostilities promises nothing good, has a strong interest in such a scenario.

On 10 September the FSB detained a Russian citizen employed in the security detail of the British Embassy in Moscow who, on Kiev’s instructions, had been collecting data on staff of the British diplomatic mission, including their residential addresses.

There is every reason to believe that a terrorist attack against representatives of the British Embassy – followed by the blaming of Russia – was thereby averted.

What consequences could such a provocation have had? I think everyone understands this perfectly well.

Colleagues, in conclusion, and in light of everything I have set out above, I am compelled to state that over the past month and a half NATO and the EU have taken further steps that risk transforming the hybrid war against Russia into a conventional one. I therefore believe that now is the time for everyone seated at this table to ask himself whether his capital is prepared to sign off on the inevitability of such a scenario. And if not, what it is prepared to do to prevent it.

Dmitry Polyanskiy, Russia’s representative to the United Nations

This earlier post explains why this is happening

    A snippet
“To begin with, let me reiterate the obvious — a point that has been endlessly rehashed: the European politician as an independent agent is as extinct as the proverbial dodo bird. European politicians, as a class, have been replaced by highly paid PR managers whose sole task is to read out scripts generated by supranational neural networks that were trained once and for all to “deal Russia a strategic defeat.””

    Another
“Thus we may conclude: a European leader of today is not the captain of a ship of state but a half-hostage, half-puppet.
But what is this Algorithm before which every European politician is forced to grovel? What is the origin of this unspoken yet perfectly obvious consensus among the Brussels bureaucracy, transatlantic think tanks and global media conglomerates that to become “respectable”, a politician must pass a loyalty test on several key points points: that NATO is sacred, that EU discipline is mandatory and that Russia must be destroyed.
Once all of these boxes have been ticked, the European media instantly changes its tone, doors open and money floods in. No longer is an aspiring politician characterized as a “dangerous populist.” In a blink of an eye, he becomes a “pragmatic statesman.” But why must they all do this? For a very basic, selfish reason: the career of a modern European official is not built on pleasing the voters. The voters are fickle; they might vote for just about anyone because they are mad about the gas prices or the price of beer. A Euro-bureaucrat’s career is built on moving from one seat to another within a vast supranational bureaucracy that includes the EU, the IMF, the UN, NATO, World Economic Forum and so on.”

I respect Dmitry Polyansky and I always listen intently to what he has to say. If he has written something along these lines, I take it as true and not a flight of fancy, which doesn’t make it any less frightening.

By the way, He is not and never has been Russia’s representative to the UN. He was Deputy Ambassador for several years and he now represents Russia in a different post in Europe.

In a way yes, Belyi, but he was Russia’s Deputy Representative to the UN for five years, speaks perfect English, did all the media appearances. His boss was invisible to the media, but was in the chair at the key UN sessions, with translators required.

Dmitri was promoted to Ambassador and moved to OCSE recently. As to title I would agree with you, but as to who was actually doing the job, he was the effective permanent representative of Russia at the UN.

I didn’t have time to look up his new job so referenced his old one! I had it right on englandcalling.co.uk as it’s going out as an eshot to Teds party members!

I don’t want to be pernickety (although I am!), but the Russian ambassador to the UN, Vassily Nebenzia often speaks in debates.

I expect he speaks good English too, but at key UN sessions, he would naturally speak in his own language. When Dmitry Polyansky spoke at the UN, of course he used Russian.

I worked in and out of the UN system and its acolytes for several years and at one point was assisting the head of interpretation at WIPO to engage free-lance interpreters, so I know the importance of using one of the six official languages.
