Romanians protest the cancellation of democracy.
Tue 8:19 am +00:00, 14 Jan 2025 3No EU flags. No Ukraine flags. Massive protests across Romania. Things are changing across the EU as more elected political leaders turn against Ursula Van Der Leyen. Nazis are no longer popular in the EU – nor is war with Russia – in Hungary, Austria, Slovakia, Serbia, Romania, Croatia and many others. Germany no doubt is also anti-Nazi if the true vote were ever to occur. The EU wishes to cancel democracy across the continent.

Are there any supporters of the EU left? Other than those whose snouts are stuck in the massive EU money trough?
It’s run by unelected placemen, often failed national politicians. And it simply cancels any “elections” or referenda that doesn’t suit them, a long history of that
And the so called “Parliament” has no power whatsoever, it’s just “Advisory” and is ignored. Could they be any more blatant?
Then there is the European Central Bank and it’s ridiculous Euro that hamstrings national “governments”
I could go on and on….
So in reality it’s quite easy to see just what they are. But I suppose that the so called “left” just ignores all that. Blinded as they are by their long term dogmatism, they can’t see how the world has changed since the old optimistic days when many folk thought that the EU was progressive
I once thought that too I’m sad to say, I voted yes when Teddy Teeth organised a UK referendum in the ’70’s. But I woke up to all that nonsense a few decades ago and they’ve shown their true colours in no uncertain terms since
