Hezbollah was neutralised by IDF actions against first, Gaza and then Lebanon. Iran was preoccupied with the threat from Israel and had reduced presence in Syria. Then Al Qaeda was released by Erdogan, the second fist.
Syrian generals paid $40 a month when a terrorist earns $2,000 a month. Syria was badly weakened, to the point its armed forces couldn’t stand up.
Similarly Cuba is being crushed as was Syria. Once a people are strangled their people get tired – Nicaragua, Venezuela also, they become easy meat.
How is Turkey going to control these Jihadists? They murder and torture at will, with no remorse. Erdogan is an extremist. The Jihadists are his proxies. He can’t control them.
