David Hearst sees the Middle East reshaping as Saudi awakens to Israeli/Emirati threat
Fri 5:54 am +00:00, 15 May 2026 1Saudi’s eyes are no longer blinkered.
They can see that the Israeli/Emirati strategy everywhere around them is fragmentation, with them as the target. Israeli/UAE have been working this strategy for a decade to dominate the region. Saudi Arabia can now see that they are the target. MBS owes his ascendance to his Emirati neighbour, fixing his relations with the Trump regime, and Israel. MBS (Bin Salman) now wants an exit from Trump/Israel embrace.
Not to be confused with Emerati political leader MBZ – Bin Zayed, who is a deadly enemy of Iran.
UAE and Israel have overreached themselves, as has Trump in Venezuela, a huge forested country armed to the teeth which will not bow down to Yankee bully tactics. Saudi Arabia, Algeria and Egypt too can all see the Israeli/Emirati plans to dominate the region is a clear threat to their existence and future. Syria is being turned into Libya, a collection of warring nations with no central control. Sudan kept in permanent fragmentation in a devastating civil war. In Yemen Israeli/Emirati had the same strategy, and tried to create fragmentation there. But when Saudi Arabia bombed a shipment of arms sent in by the UAE, the UAE withdrew from Yemen. MBS is now a hero in Saudi, and the devil to his former allies.
UAE has a local population of 1 million, and 9 million imported workforce. Saudi population much higher 35 million.
Saudi is providing hope of stopping the fragmentation policy of the USI/Emiratis.
America can bomb and invade but it can’t control the aftermath of war as in Iraq. It’s time for the whole region to move into opposition against the Israeli/Emirati fragmentation policy.
TAP – Are China, Russia and Iran part of the picture, and able to assist Saudi Arabia’s awakening against the threat from Israel and UAE? Iran is also finding the UAE the most persistent aggressor in the Gulf. Will any others in the region see the need to move away from these aggressors? Is the worm going to turn?

Reminds me of a comment that I saw recently:
“Before we move on, I will pause to laugh at his name: a Saudi Prince named Salmon. As in Salomon or Solomon, Jewish. So we are looking at the premier Jew in a turban, mainly an actor in our Middle East theater. Saudi Arabia has never been anything but a stagefront for the West. Do you really think the British Commonwealth (including the US) would allow these goatherders to control the largest oilfields in the world, taking all that profit?.”
Makes sense to me, I find it hard to believe that Saudi is anything other than a US controlled proxy. The post WW2 petrodollar was based on Saudi oil wasn’t it
