The Iranian State Television reported that the Iranian Army’s naval forces issued warnings and fired warning shots along the path of movement of US destroyers operating near the Strait of Hormuz. According to the report, the US vessels had attempted to approach the strait hours earlier after switching off their radars in the Sea of Oman. Once their systems were reactivated, they were detected and received a radio warning from the Iranian navy. After the initial warning was ignored, Iranian forces issued a second, more forceful warning, declaring that any attempt to enter the Strait of Hormuz would be considered a violation of the ceasefire and would be met with a response from naval forces.
