Southend nearby witness ‘I didn’t see any plane go down’
Mon 4:49 am +00:00, 14 Jul 2025 3A bartender at the golf club, which is next door to the airport, said he felt a “big heat wave” before looking up to a “massive fireball” in the sky.
James Philpott told the BBC: “I was just basically in a hut like in the middle of the course and I didn’t even see any plane go down or anything and I just felt like a big heat wave come through and I looked up and there was just a massive fireball basically 100 foot in the sky.
“It was more the heat really just kind of hit me as I was sitting there, just like, feel like I’m baking.”
He continued: “I think everyone was just quite shocked to be honest. People were sort of running towards it to see if anyone was injured or anything.”

TAP – If you’re close enough to feel the heat, you’re close enough to know what happened. He saw no crash. This sounds like another stunt. What does ‘sort of running’ look like?
MSN – As a precaution because of their proximity to the incident, police said they evacuated the Rochford Hundred Golf Club.

Story on the beeb makes no sense either. If a plane crashed then the owners would know immediately surely? And know who was on board too
Another quote from the family with children was,
“You could see [the pilots] smiling and we all kind of smiled back.”
How close did they get to see the ‘pilots’ smiling, It’s hard enough sometimes to see any detail in peoples faces behind car windscreens as they drive past and would they have 2 pilots on a hop, skip and a jump across the channel. It’s not like they would need a rest break is it. Very strange all round as usual.
