You’ve likely heard just a few of the problems with smart meters, even policy papers put out by smart grid technology experts admit that smart meters and smart grids are not synonymous, are a waste of taxpayer and electricity ratepayer dollars for electricity that for many has ended up costing more not less wasting more energy than they save and even that the meters are an unjustifiable unnecessary intrusion into our privacy

I have power of atourney for my mothers electricity account and I am regularly hounded by SP to have her meter ‘upgraded’ as the current ones ‘safety cerrtificate has expired.’ (that’s just a very poor excuse)
Just this week I told them my mother does not want an ‘upgrade’ and if they try to sneak out and change it, the meter is in a communal hallway, they will be receiving a solicitors letter. They said they will remove my mothers name from the upgrade list.
Now I wish I could give some background information to this link below, but I hit dead ends when trying to learn more about who is speaking and when, but this appears to be a rather sinister plan using the frequencies from phone masts, smart meters and possibly smart phones themselves, as with the not too distant pager explosions earlier this year, but this don’t sound too good if you value your life, I just wish I knew more about the video. Just think Mark Steele’s work on the 5G network and traffic cameras.
