Switching off Starlink system is collapsing Ukraine’s military. US moves troops from Germany to Hungary
Sun 9:25 pm +00:00, 9 Mar 2025 2Whatever was decided between Putin and Russia, the effects are proving tectonic. Emil Cosman lists them out. NATO will be restructured and could turn into a tyrannical organisation and cartel, dropping its mask, he says. Trump is pulling US troops out of Germany, redeploying them to Hungary. TAP – From there the US could defend Hungary from the EU and be in a position to set up a secure border with Ukraine, but what if Trump goes, says Emil, and new babboon takes over? You won’t want US troops on your territory Mr Orban. Be careful. Orban clearly feels he needs protecting for now, and he wants to help Trump end the war in Ukraine.
Nothing good to say about Micron from Emil. He needs slapping down. Down to earth language warning but he offers sharp observations. TAP – I wonder if the fake European sabre rattling from MIcron and Spermer threatening Russia is all laid on as a cover narrative to enable the US to move its forces East into Hungary. There is probably a plan to carve up Ukraine – a deal made with Putin now being put into effect.
Trump: Ukraine ‘may not survive’
Ukrainian publics admit catastrophe: elite units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine transferred to the Kursk region are suffering colossal losses, the fighters are trying to retreat without orders, but are caught in fire pockets. The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Syrsky traditionally was late with the order to retreat, supplies were cut off, bridges were destroyed. The Armed Forces of Ukraine lost over 1000 people and a hundred units of equipment today. The Battle of Kursk is turning into a total and hopeless meat grinder for them.” (Lord Of War)

Very possible, time will tell. US & Russia are natural allies, oceans apart with their own large backyards and spheres of influence. You scratch my back, I’ll scratch yours. Got to be better than the current madness, or am I missing something?
How was the Teds conference? Will you put up a post summarising progress/state of play? Hope so
I will be reporting about the Teds, Pete, but in about a week’s time. Robin’s talk pointed out the severe disruptions taking place in Reform leadership infighting. They don’t look serious at this point in time. The COnservatives might survive by default. Farage doesn’t seem serious about winning power. One way or another voters will be looking at alternatives.
