But the rubbish that they pump out is damaging to young folk who don’t know our recent history, and can’t think for themselves because they don’t know how.     My mother grew up in a thriving South West Lancashire market town. She was born in 1928 and the first black person that she EVER saw in her life was a US GI soldier in WW2. She had literally NEVER seen a black person before then!

    I am old enough to remember Winfred Atwell too. If she is high on their list then, they really are scraping the barrel. She was a plinkety plonk pianist who was sneered at when her stuff was played. Certainly by anyone who enjoyed real music. We’ve had plenty of excellent pianists over the years in England, but old Winnie was NOT amongst them, she was a hack. No wonder she emigrated to Aus, the Okkers were probably more receptive. She was a bag of shite. That’s what I would have called her at the time anyhow! 🙂

    I just asked my missus to name a famous British black from history. She said “There aren’t any!” I said “Try harder”. She said “Frank Bruno” 🙂

      TV creates brain rot to dull the mind, they’ve known this from the start. TV turns off the higher brain function and lowers consciousness. There is proof of that and it’s exactly what the owners want
