Hosting Upgrade Appeal

Dear Visitor. The Tap has become increasingly busy over the last few weeks with many more visitors and sign ups. It's currently creaking and slowing. We need a hosting account upgrade to help cope with the increased activity and keep this free blog online. In this age of great change The Tap is a valuable independent resource where we can come together and share information the controlling parasites would rather we didn't have. It would be sad to lose it but it costs to keep it going and free to use. If any of you can help donate even a small amount towards the hosting upgrade that would be a big help. Your small donation makes a huge difference. Thank you in advance. Click here to donate

‘Irish lives matter’ graffiti investigated as hate crime by police

Police in Northern Ireland have launched a hate crime probe after graffiti reading “Irish lives matter” was left on a wall in Belfast, a phrase thought to reflect anti-immigrant sentiment following several similar incidents in the area.

The local authorities confirmed the vandalism in west Belfast on Wednesday, with police inspector Andrew Matson saying the graffiti and other anti-immigrant signage would be treated as “hate” incidents.

“Our local Neighbourhood Policing Team have been undertaking enquiries in the area and anyone who has any information in regard to the erection of the notices is asked to contact police,” Matson said, also referring to a sign placed elsewhere in Belfast stating that “illegal immigrants” would no longer be accepted for housing.

A number of local lawmakers have come forward to denounce the graffiti and signs, with Sinn Fein MP Paul Maskey calling them “offensive” and “disgraceful.”

“It’s deeply concerning and disgraceful that these offensive and racist signs have been erected in an attempt to create fear and intimidate people,” he said, adding “There is no place for this type of behavior in our society.”

Social Democratic and Labour Party councilor Paul Doherty said he asked city officials to remove the graffiti, insisting Belfast is a “welcoming area that is home to a diverse array of people,” while People Before Profit MLA Gerry Carroll called the signs “racist poison.”

Similar anti-immigrant slogans were found on multiple signs erected in south Belfast earlier this month, which were also investigated as a “hate incident” by police. So far, the authorities have not identified any suspects or organized groups behind the signage.

The investigation was launched against the backdrop of last week’s anti-migrant riot in Dublin in the Republic of Ireland. The unrest erupted after a man of Algerian origin stabbed three children and one adult outside a school. Irish police described the rioters as a mob driven by “far-right ideology.”

Irish Prime Minister Leo Varadkar urged the public not to demonize migrants, arguing that it is “totally wrong” to link migration with crime.

So it’s hate to say Irish Lives Matter but not hate to say Black Lives Matter? More abject hypocrisy

But it makes sense from a globalist perspective I suppose. Because that is exactly what they think isn’t it. They want to eradicate all nations because they are an effective brake on their global control agenda

So for globalists then, Irish Lives DON’T Matter

  2. Tapestry says:

They know that certain skin types will roll over more easily than others. White obviously resist more and Irish top the list!

The hate crime laws will have been written up with this in mind. White lives matter= hate crime. Criticise Israel=antisemitism ,ie hate crime. Immigrants who are over running our country please go home= hate crime, etc etc. White people are racist right wing extremists terrorist useless eaters, now you’re talking.

Hate laws are a joke. It is a crime that is virtually impossible to define. So they fall back on somebody being offended!

Which is as stupid as it gets because offence is always TAKEN never GIVEN. I can say what I want and, if you don’t like it then, don’t listen, walk away, nobody is forcing you to listen

In fact we are all born with an inalienable right to speak our mind under Natural Law. And Natural Law is SUPERIOR to all Statute Law. Because it is NOT man made, it is the law of God and the Universe

You are telling me that I can’t say what I think? Then eff you, I’m gonna say it anyway whether you like it or not

        “Transphobic hate crime

Nanny’s State’s Crime Prosecution Service [CPS] explanation of a Transphobic hate crime:

“What do we mean by a transphobic incident? There is no legal definition of a transphobic incident. However, we adopt this definition when applying our policy:
“Any incident which is perceived to be transphobic by the victim or any other person”.”
        Source:
        http://www.report-it.org.uk/files/cps_policy_on_homophobic_and_transphobic_hate_crime.pdf

        Note the key word perceived

So if the “victim”, or “any other person”, perceives that it is a transphobic crime, then it is a transphobic crime.

        Oxford dictionary definition of “perceive”:
1 Become aware or conscious of (something); come to realize or understand:
        2. Interpret or regard (someone or something) in a particular way:

So, if the “victim” becomes aware that transphobia has occurred, or if a victim interprets someone else’s words as transphobic, then a transphobic hate crime has been committed.

Voila! I believe it is a crime – so it is a crime.

Finally note that the CPS says “there is no legal definition of a transphobic incident”. But in the same, and several other, booklet/s it says that it has the power to prosecute such crimes!

Let’s think about all that for a minute. On this definition simply taking the piss out of a trans person could be defined by them as a hate crime! Surely taking the piss is a longstanding British tradition? We have always been free to take the piss out of whoever the fuck we want to. Taking the piss is a sign of a healthy society. We all need the piss taking out of us occasionally, even me. And particularly the me, me, me, me generation; they are crying out to have the piss taken out of them; it is almost a public service.

Ffs, making taking the piss into a crime is a sign of a truly sick society.

Belfast is a “welcoming area that is home to a diverse array of people”. So what has that to do with saying that Irish people matter too?

It seems to me that they’re all vying for political brownie points so that when the s**t hits the fan they hope it won’t hit them.

  5. ian says:

Yes Pete, and Belyi, you are both of course correct. You are decent sensible experienced people. During the Bolshevik revolution, antisemitism got you the death penalty. The law is simply a control mechanism. Nothing to do with anything good or decent, just a matter of, we make the rules, you obey them, or we will punish you.

  6. Steiner60 says:

Labour has said they will criminalise mis-gendering someone, if they get into power. So, you refuse you call a bloke in a frock madam and you can be chucked in jail. We truly are now rapidly approaching the days of Orwell’s 2+2 = 5 or else. Will the sheeple wake up?

  7. Tapestry says:

I will call people ‘hey human’. It’s not funny, right.
