One of the most interesting and personally influential books I have read in recent years is Cyclonopedia, by Iranian-born philosopher Reza Negarestani. Published in 2008. It blends philosophy, geopolitics, occultism, and speculative biology into a complex esoteric meditation on the nature of the geopolitics, oil, and the “cosmopolitics” of the Middle East. This original work of theory-fiction proposes, albeit within a nonlinear framework, that oil and geopolitics operate as a cosmic force: Cyclonopedia treats petroleum not just as a resource but as a quasi-mystical agent that shapes history, space, and conflict.

Negarestani draws on occultism, alchemy, and traditional cosmologies to reconceptualize materialist philosophy, suggesting that subterranean forces and hidden geometries drive surface phenomena and human behaviour. Cyclonopedia is influential within contemporary speculative realism, political theology, and post-structuralist thought. Proposing that material forces (especially oil) and spatial politics shape history, violence, and knowledge. The book appears to be something akin to Saul Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals as an emerging vital text of the globalist establishment according to some of the research I have personally done into the Cyclonopedia suprisingly high-level influence.

Cyclonopedia central theory is that petroleum is not just a resource but a dynamic, quasi-subjective agent that drives history, violence, and spatial organisation. Oil is treated as being alive, envious, or generally malignant. This has been brought into consciouness by the collosal geological forces hidden beneath the planet (oil currents, subterranean canals, alchemical forces) that shape surface events and human destiny. Ostensibly something akin to a Lovecraftian god at war with the Helios god force of the sun for dominance of this planet, using humans as the prime mover of its desires.

Which brings us to Venezuela…

I am now inclined to wonder if the petro mega demon-god of Reza Negarestani’s Cyclonopedia is now transferring its central energy force from the Middle East to Venezuela? This might explain the sudden, frankly startling, turn against Israel by the American establishment and US population as a whole. As if Israel, along with the entire Levant, has served its purpose as the Clyclonopedia entity migrates towards Venezuela? The Middle East is no longer its prime lair, and the temple of devotion now resides to the north of the Amazon.

Almost identical to the character of Daniel Plainview in There Will Be Blood, President Donald Trump has ostensibly become possessed by the spiritual force of the migrated petroleum subterranean god. Currently, the most powerful god on this earth, if Negarestani’s theory-fiction is to be taken literally. Trump longs to be baptized in the ‘Holy Blood, Holy Crude’ as the earthly high-priest of the Crude Redeemer below the surface of the planet.

Added to all this; is Epstein’s high strangeness and the ‘Leviathan’* field… The heresies of America First. The sudden social collapse within oil-rich Iran. It just goes on and on. Remarkably so when examined within this light.
