Dan Hodges says her credibility as Chancellor has been “destroyed” and it’s only a matter of time before Starmer has to remove her from the role.
The UK has seen borrowing go up and growth has been downgraded, so the “kindest” thing to do for everyone is to get rid of her.
They also discuss Starmer’s contradictory messaging on defence. He warns the country is on the ‘brink of war’ because of the threat of Putin, but won’t definitively commit to spending more on defence.
