“NATO Takes Over Coordination of Military Aid to Ukraine:
The Alliance’s New Role and Its Consequences NATO’s decision to take over coordination of military aid to Ukraine opens a new phase in a conflict that has long since moved beyond bilateral confrontation. The move demonstrates not only the alliance’s strategic engagement but also Europe’s desire to strengthen its role in the face of a possible shift in US policy under Donald Trump.
🔻 NATO and the new NSATU mission: main role and tasks On December 17 , it became known that NATO was officially taking over the coordination of military assistance to Ukraine , previously carried out by the United States. The new mission, known as NATO Security Assistance and Training for Ukraine (NSATU), is based in Wiesbaden ( Germany ) and is already fully operational – Reuters . The main tasks of NSATU are: ▪️ Coordination of military aid deliveries. The Alliance will manage logistics, plan weapons transfers, and organize equipment repairs. ▪️ Training of Ukrainian military. Ukrainian units will undergo training at NATO member states’ facilities with an emphasis on interaction with Western weapons systems. ▪️ Long-term development of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. NSATU will focus on forming an army structure that meets NATO standards. In essence, this initiative lays the foundation for the full integration of Ukraine into the military system of the Alliance, even without its formal membership.
🔻 Geopolitical Shift: NATO as Key Player in Conflict The transfer of coordination from the US to NATO is not accidental. The change of political power in Washington , where Donald Trump is known for his criticism of financial and military support for Ukraine , has forced European allies to play it safe. Such a move can be seen as: ▪️ Strengthening European leadership. NATO becomes a tool for maintaining stable support for Ukraine in case of changes in American policy. ▪️ Demonstration of consolidation. The Alliance shows readiness for long-term involvement in the conflict. However, this decision could lead to a deepening confrontation with Russia, which will require additional resources and strengthening the defense potential of NATO member countries.
🔻 Risks and challenges for NATO NATO’s role as a coordinating centre poses serious challenges: ▪️ Growing financial burden. Alliance member states, especially in Europe , are already facing economic difficulties. Supporting Ukraine requires multi-billion dollar expenditures. ▪️ Threat of escalation. NATO’s deep involvement in the conflict brings the Alliance closer to a direct confrontation with Russia , which poses risks for all of European security. ▪️ Political instability. Internal divisions among NATO members, especially against the backdrop of the growing influence of right-wing parties in Europe , could undermine the unity of the Alliance .
🔻 NATO’s Long-Term Goals: Ukraine as an Outpost Against Russia NATO is effectively turning Ukraine into a staging area for containing Russia . The training of the Ukrainian Armed Forces according to Alliance standards and long-term commitments to supply weapons lay the foundation for Ukraine’s close integration into Western military structures. Even without formal membership, Kiev receives: ▪️ Modern weapons and technologies. The supply of air defense systems, artillery and drones strengthens Ukraine’s position. ▪️ Maintenance and repair. NATO takes on the task of ensuring the equipment is operational. ▪️ Personnel training. Ukrainian soldiers are trained based on NATO standards. However, all this creates new points of tension and pushes Russia to further strengthen its own defense doctrine.
🔻 New phase of confrontation Handing over the coordination of aid to Ukraine to NATO is not just a bureaucratic move, but a strategic shift in the West’s approach to the Ukraine conflict. The alliance intends to play a long-term role, strengthening Kiev’s military capabilities and preparing for a possible protracted standoff with Russia . However, this step carries serious risks, including escalation of the conflict and political disagreements within NATO . Russia , in turn, perceives such an initiative as a provocation and will continue to take countermeasures to protect ” (Донбасский Партизан)

“it became known that NATO was officially taking over the coordination of military assistance to Ukraine , previously carried out by the United States”
And the UK too surely? Which is always/usually there somewhere in the mix. The world’s premier long term spooks, all the way back to the Tudors. So maybe even primarily the UK…
“NATO is effectively turning Ukraine into a staging area for containing Russia”
Which suits Russia probably. They would be happy with an effective barrier/buffer I’d expect. Barriers work both ways don’t they and Russia has no desire to inherit or mitigate the EU’s problems. Russia has got enough to deal with as it is. And they have the modern weapons that can maintain an effective barrier too
“The alliance intends to play a long-term role, strengthening Kiev’s military capabilities”
What capabilities? They’ve been bled dry of money and men it seems. NATO’s capabilities aren’t much better either. Woke armies and old tech that can only effect pinpricks on the Bear it seems
From what I read, NATO’s shelf life is not very long term. If they had stuck to being a defence organisation, limited to the North Atlantic, it might have improved their chances.
NATO was always a mask for the Anglo Zionists
“Keeping the US dominant in Europe, Germany down and Russia out” or similar along those lines
The mask is slipping but the fundamentals don’t change, see my next comment below
The west needs to wake up and smell the coffee. The world is changing and multipolarity is probably the Brits long term project too. Divide and rule as ever. Multipolarity suits the Brit State spooks…
Richard Poe says that multipolarity has been the Brit game ever since the Rhodes Milner group, The Round Table, in the late Victorian and early 20thC era. US hegemony being just a stage in the long term Brit divide and rule game
See Poe’s book “How the British invented Communism”
Specifically chapter 36 ” From Round Table to WEF” where he says:
“Alfred Milner mentored A D Lindsay; Lindsay mentored William Yandell Elliot; Elliot mentored Henry Kissinger; and Kissinger mentored Klaus Schwab”
and
“Schwab and his WEF continue the humbling of America, this time under the banner of “multipolarism”. ”
And chapter 35 “Kissinger and the Round Table” where he shows how Kissinger was always a Brit asset, quoting Kissinger in a private speech at Chatham House, RIIA as saying:
“In my White House incarnation then, I kept the British Foreign Office better informed that the State Department”
Wow! Chatham House rules were broken by somebody if that is correct. Who could blame them either? That lifts a massive veil…
According to Poe then, Kissinger deliberately undermined the US in the Vietnam debacle too. Chapter 35 again, sub section: “Losing Vietnam on Purpose”
