    It was several years ago now I was in a children’s nursery doing some work and there on the wall of the preschool room were several cut-out drawings of UFOs and aliens. I wondered then which of the staff had thought it was amusing and a game to display such things without any knowledge of UFOs and aliens.

    Worse than that was the day I walked into the same nursery and read from the notice board a recommendation from East Lothian Council that children should swallow their toothpaste after brushing their teeth. I learned later through inquiries that my own Scottish Borders Council had adopted the same idea.

    And these are the same people that are supposed to have the health and well-being of our children at heart. Excuse me!

      Yes I agree Gordon the authorities are totally bonkers, but if one was to say their aim was to destroy local communities and their children, in that respect they are doing a good job, therefore we need to take back OUR authority over THEM!!
