Armenia goes with EU against Russia
Sun 3:51 pm +00:00, 30 Aug 2026At the end of WW1 Russia collapsed, and Armenians were massacred by Turks. Other than that Armenia has depnded on RUssia for its security. In recent years Armenia has done well from trade with Russia. Economic levers are now being played by Russia, threatening, inter alia a cut off of the gas supply. Armenia would turn to Azerbaijan for gas, which is Armenia’s enemy. Azerbaijan would demand concessions, transfer of land and opening of roads across Armenia.
Armenia will be raided economically, but the government is uniformally corrupt and sold out to the West. It will be catastrophic for Armenia. The church is totally against the government, and was barred from the opening of Parliament. The people are ded against the PM, the NGOs, the media, the massive US Embassy, a powerful diaspora in the US and France. No one knows how elections go against the people. Catastrophe looms for Armenia.
