This week, the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee voted 8-5 to hold Dr. Anthony Fauci in contempt of Congress after he refused to answer lawmakers’ questions, invoking the Fifth Amendment more than 100 times during a hearing on the origins of COVID-19 and the government’s pandemic response.
