    I read an article in a local newspaper a few years ago that the people who were hanging on to their goods and having them repaired by small companies, that have set up for the purpose, are causing headaches to manufacturers because people weren’t spending as much as these parasites thought they should on new stuff.

      If you think more deeply then, you realise that the totally unnecessary, usury based, private, money creation system is the root cause. The constant extraction of the private usuers leads to the constant need for the chimera of economic growth, and ultimately to the degradation of the planet. It’s built in to the modern world money system

      It pisses me off no end that all those bleating about climate, rain forest, environmental etc etc destruction NEVER point to the root cause. At least none in the media do anyway. So either useful idiots or ignorant. No other option

      But, to be fair, the modern history of our money systems clearly shows that anyone who EVER tries to change to Sovereign money [the only sensible money] soon ends up dead. Funny that hey

      The list is long and goes back hundreds of years. Muammar Gaddafi was a recent example. The last Tsar another. Napoleon another. It’s a death wish for a Statesman
