Fantastic pictures

A traditional geology teacher made a superb video of a mountain range in Montana, mostly bare rock. His explanations are as you would expect, but don’t really make sense. How could a shallow sea cover the mountain peaks? Roger gives his more sensible explanation, and identifies biological material, blood basically and layers of tissue, in the supposed salt deposits.

As he says, giant creatures were everywhere on earth at one time. How they lived, he has no idea, but live here, they did. I see the same things at Llangollen in the Eglwysig Rocks (meaning like a church). The same layering and remnants of biological material. Take a look where you live at the hills and see what you can see.
