TAP – I can’t access this thread to comment below so I’ve come in as editor to the post to comment here. Burnham will have been brought in for only one purpose – to assist in getting WW3 going. His name tells it all. Starmer was chicken and held back from deploying naval forces to Israel and Hormuz. So was removed. Burnham will do their bidding.

Despite changes in leadership, policies remain the same with minimal tweak here or there to appease public frustration. It is nonetheless, frustrating that politicians often ignore their constituents once elected. This is frequently observed when elected officials dismiss reporters’ questions in public.
So true Gordon. It might make a minimal change if manifestos and policies were legally binding. Generally as we all know though they carry on with what they and their masters want, not the voters.

It seems that believing in the integrity of elections is a thing of the past. The people the powers behind the throne want to be at the forefront, whether it’s the UK, the US, the EU, etc. are invariably selected. No use telling the voters they are stupid.
