‘I Don’t Care’, Says Rupert Lowe

We have been subject to labels of accusation for years. In many cases accusers of prejudice are themselves the prejudice. Wrong think? Thought crime? Enough is enough. I don’t care.

Racist, xenophobe, misogynist, homophobe, transphobe, climate change denier, anti-vaxxer, sexist, antisemite, Islamophobe, this-ist, that-ist, and so it goes. Add any form of denial, prefix anti-, add any -ist or -ism I’ve neglected to include. I don’t care. This three word response is advised by Rupert Lowe the founder of Restore Britain and I daresay it resonates with many, including one Frank Wright.
Except, I do care about life beyond the name calling, finger pointing and hurty word victimhood. Tucker Carlson talked to Frank Wright. Frank Wright has apparently referred to the ‘common good’, which might be recognised as a Fabian and communist term, but more likely just a common turn of phrase. He’s also Catholic which may hold suspicions for us who wish to restore the Protestant based English constitution, but again, until proved otherwise, I detect nothing nefarious about Frank. Frank does appear to have popped out of obscurity; one moment walking the streets of Makerfield, the next doing the online rounds including the Tucker Carlson Show. It is natural to ponder how and why. He has been reading, writing and formulating his thoughts for years, so when the opportunity arose to express himself to the wider public, he met it effortlessly like a fish to water. Tucker Carlson has previously sat down and spoken with Restore Britain’s founder Rupert Lowe. I don’t think Frank Wright mentioned Restore Britain once to Tucker Carlson, but I wonder how many Makerfield voters will have watched, listened and be encouraged to vote for Restore candidate Rebecca Shepherd for whom Frank Wright has canvassed. If Frank Wright is yet another piped piper, so be it. However, on the face of it, the conversation with Tucker Carlson lifted my spirits. Frank Wright is calm and funny to boot:

This, by comparison, is a short clip of Reform UK candidate Robert Kenyon talking to the BBC’s Nick Mason.

Kenyon did surprise me with his appearance on BBC Question Time, not that I’ve watched an episode of BBC QT since covid1984, but a couple of clips came under my nose and he certainly made the Green Party candidate look silly as she queried increased immigration having any bearing on housing availability. Question immigration and presumably you’re a racist? I don’t care.

So often I hear reference to various generations of voter; gen z or boomer or zoomer. I’ve never taken an interest in these categorisations and stated to someone the other day that I’ve never known what the distinct categories are. Frankly, I’ve never cared. He responded with this list:
Greatest Gen 1901 to 1927
Silent Gen 1928 to 1945
Baby Boomers from 1946 to 1964
Gen X [Slackers] from 1965 to 1979
Gen Y [Millennials] from 1980 to 1996
Gen Z [Zoomers] from 1997 to 2012
Gen Alpha from 2013 to 2025

I don’t intend to be facetious, but I still don’t care. Likewise, do you understand red pill, black, blue pill, white and so forth? I did not enjoy The Matrix film, yet the pill reference from it is persistently mentioned to this day. I don’t care, pay little heed to it and couldn’t tell you which colour pill does what. I do remember and loved Dr. Seuss; One fish, two fish, red fish blue fish…
LGBTxyz+, climate change, snake oil salesman David Attenborough, the next scary potential pandemic, living in fear of Putin and Russia… I don’t care. But, I would like to have a political leader elected who might do something pleasing and welcome. It would be an interesting turn up for the books if Restore Britain were to win Makerfield. It’s tempting to assume the establishment will make sure it will be either Labour’s Andy Burnham or Reform UK’s Robert Kenyon. The country loathes Labour, so presumably Nigel Farage will be an acceptable appointment for establishment anointment. There is a significant percentage who don’t vote. In many cases up to half the electorate in any given constituency. If Restore Britain can galvanise that significant block, it could make a difference. For those who don’t care and don’t vote, I urge you to do so and refer you to Ashby vs. White 1703.

Even if there is no party or candidate to your liking, you can in effect express ‘none of the above’ by writing on your ballot, ‘I do not consent, Ashby vs. White 1703’.
