Edgar Cayce – will his prophecy on Russia and China come true? He had some unusual predictions about the fate of the world

For Belyi and Tap

After the summit earlier this week between President Xi and President Putin in Beijing, I thought it would be interesting to visit the predictions made about Russia and China by Edgar Cayce, an American clairvoyant, nearly a century ago.

Clairvoyant is a special kind of psychic who specifically receives information through visual images, flashes of sight, visions, or dreams. The layman’s term for people with such abilities is “prophet”.

Cayce’s name first came up in a documentary I watched about the Great Pyramid and the Great Sphinx of Giza. He made some amazing revelations about Ancient Egypt which turned out to be true by later archeologists.

Out of curiosity, I did some digging and read about Edgar Cayce. It was fascinating.

Edgar Cayce (March 18, 1877 – January 3, 1945) was born in Kentucky and died in Virginia. He was known as the “Sleeping Prophet” and the father of holistic medicine during his lifetime.

While in a self-induced, trance-like sleep state, Cayce delivered over 14,000 documented readings covering health diagnoses, reincarnation, ancient civilizations, as well as prophecies about the world.

Despite his unorthodox psychic work, he remained a devout, lifelong Christian and Sunday school teacher. Today, his legacy is preserved by the Association for Research and Enlightenment (A.R.E.) in Virginia Beach.

Cayce delivered his predictions and readings while in an induced sleep or trance-state, earning him the famous nickname “The Sleeping Prophet”.

He made detailed descriptions of Atlantis and Lemuria, claiming Atlantis was a technologically advanced society destroyed 12,000 years ago. More on this later.

Cayce foretold numerous future historical events, scientific discoveries, and even climate changes, including the independence of India from British rule, the return of Jews to the Middle East, and the outbreak of World War 2.

In February 1925 and again in March 1929 (six months before the stock market crush), Cayce explicitly warned of a “great disturbance in financial circles,” advising his followers to pull their money out of the stock market.

In 1935, Cayce predicted a massive global conflict where “Austrians, Germans, and later the Japanese” would join forces. This accurately named the Axis powers five years before the formal signing of the Tripartite Pact in 1940.

Cayce spoke extensively about a secretive, mystical Jewish sect called the Essenes and predicted their historical records would be uncovered.

Two years after his death, in 1947, the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered in the Qumran Caves, east of Jerusalem, by a Bedouin shepherd, validating his detailed descriptions of the sect.

In a 1927 reading, Cayce stated that the day would come when an accurate medical diagnosis could be made from a single drop of blood. At the time, this sounded like science fiction, but today we know such basic medical science as hematology and laboratory blood panels.

Cayce predicted a massive restructuring and convergence of global communications technologies. Decades later, internet and smartphone have become an integral part of modern life.

Cayce even foresaw major cyclical changes in global ocean temperatures and weather patterns, effectively describing what meteorologists later identified as the El Niño and La Niña climate phenomena.

In the late 1920s and 1930s, Cayce predicted that a shifting of the Earth’s magnetic poles would begin around the year 2000.

According to data released by NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center, a measurable shift in the Earth’s gravitational field and magnetic core alignment did indeed become apparent in 1998, moving the poles closer together.

Cayce predicted two sitting US presidents would die in the office in the 20th century, which turned out true with the death of FDR in 1945 and the assassination of JFK in 1963.

On January 1, 1945, Cayce told those around him that he would be buried in four days. He suffered a stroke and died two days later, on January 3, with his funeral taking place exactly as he foresaw.

Cayce’s readings on the Middle East

Cayce often described the Middle East (specifically the lands surrounding Israel, Egypt, and Syria) as a spiritual epicenter of the world.

He warned that global peace or conflict would always mirror the spiritual state of this specific region.

In his readings, the physical strife in the Middle East was a reflection of the internal, spiritual conflict of humanity – specifically the battle between greed (the Belial mindset) and unity (the Law of One mindset).

He predicted that true global peace would only manifest when the peoples of these lands recognized their shared spiritual origins, moving away from racial, religious, or purely material control.

In his 700 readings on Atlantis, Cayce described the fall of Atlantis as the result of a war between the Sons of Belial and the Children of the Law of One.

In the Hebrew Bible (Old Testament), Belial (בְּלִיַּעַל) means “without worth,” “lawless,” or “good-for-nothing.”

The phrase “Sons of Belial” is used multiple times throughout the Old Testament to describe Israelites who turned away from God’s law.

In 1 Samuel 2:12, the Israelite High Priest Eli’s own sons are explicitly called “sons of Belial” because they abused their religious authority, stole sacrifices, and acted wickedly.

In Deuteronomy 13, God warns that if “Sons of Belial” arise from among Israel to lead citizens astray into idolatry, those cities must be destroyed. Biblically, it refers to a corrupt mindset within the covenant people of Israel.

Was Cayce predicting the fate of Israel and the wars in the Middle East through his readings on Atlantis?

Cayce’s predictions about Russia and China

Edgar Cayce never physically visited China or Russia. He spent his entire life living and working within the United States, primarily traveling between Kentucky, Alabama, Ohio, Texas, and Virginia.

However, China and Russia feature very prominently in his famous trance-state prophecies.

While his physical travels were entirely domestic, his followers believe his clairvoyant “astral” or mental readings allowed him to perceive the global destinies of these distant nations.

The Russia Prophecy

In the 1930s and 1940s, Cayce predicted that Russia would eventually shed communism and become a beacon of freedom.

In a reading delivered in 1944—at the height of World War II and Joseph Stalin’s oppressive regime—Cayce made a highly counter-intuitive statement about the Soviet Union.

He declared that “out of Russia will come the hope of the world.”

Cayce explicitly clarified that this hope would not stem from communism or Bolshevik rule. Instead, he described a future, reborn Russia rooted in true freedom and mutual care, famously stating it would be a form of community where “each man will live for his fellow man.”

He predicted Russia would develop a spiritual foundation based on the pure, practical teachings of Christ—not an organized religion, but a baseline of global brotherhood and collective responsibility.

The China Prophecy

Cayce made highly unexpected claims about China’s spiritual future during a time when the country was deeply fractured by civil conflict.

He predicted that civilization would continue to move westward and that China would eventually become “the cradle of Christianity, as applied in the lives of men”—meaning a place where spiritual principles would be lived out in practical daily actions.

Cayce did not mean China would convert to Western, dogmatic church structures. Rather, he meant the Chinese people would manifest the practical “Christ Consciousness”—living with deep compassion, mercy, and communal harmony.

He noted that China’s historical spiritual “sin” or hurdle was quietude and self-satisfaction (isolationism). He predicted that once the Chinese people overcame this passivity and woke up to their potential, they would progress rapidly.

Cayce tied the destiny of Russia and China into a massive historical cycle:

  • The Westward Gravitation: Cayce stated that “the height of civilization moves from the West to the Chinese people.” In his view, global leadership follows a westward trajectory across the planet over millennia – from the Middle East to Europe, from Europe to the Americas, and from the Americas to Asia and China
  • The Decline of Materialism: As Western nations battle internal strife and the toxic effects of hyper-materialism (the Belial archetype), the spiritual focus of the world shifts.

Cayce viewed the rise of a free, spiritual Russia and an awakened China as the ultimate counter-balance to global greed.

Together, they are meant to anchor the “Golden Age” of humanity, proving that technological and economic success must be driven by spiritual oneness.

Rather than focusing on military dominance, Cayce predicted that these two nations would undergo profound internal transformations to lead humanity out of materialism and into a new spiritual era.

Edgar Cayce’s predictions tie deeply into global shifts by forecasting a total inversion of 20th-century power dynamics, where the center of spiritual and cultural civilization moves from the West to the East.

Thank you so much, Pete, for this article and I see that is also specially for Tap and me.

I love Edgar Cayce but he is not always simple to read. I know we’re going forward to a great future (may not be in my lifetime) but it’s one of the reasons I’m usually upbeat about life.

Arne Naess, a Scandinavian philosopher, said that the first half of this century would be dark and difficult (the time of Kali Yuga in Hindu beliefs) but the second half would signal the start of a golden age.

Pleasure Belyi. I found the article very interesting, it took my knowledge of Edgar forward, quite a bit further than “There is a River”. He was a very prolific man, and a fascinating man too. He certainly lived a good life. And when the time came, he had developed himself sufficiently to predict it’s end, and calmly move on

I agree with your optimism, I’m an eternal optimist anyway by nature. I think that the forces of good will overcome the forces of evil in the end. For me it’s not a question of if, it’s when. Whether in my lifetime, or not, is irrelevant. It’s still very possible to live the good life oneself. Stay in nature as much as possible, disconnect from the madness, observe don’t emote, take it all with a pinch of salt, stay grounded in your own reality and develop your spiritual growth to the best of your ability

Nobody is perfect, least of all me. It’s a question of intention, action and self will

      • Belyi says:

Well said, Pete, although for some people it is difficult to be optimistic and even to say that if it doesn’t happen in our lifetimes, the future of the world is really more important.

One thing that I wonder re Edgar Cayce, and I’m not being deliberately cheeky or nasty, but I would pronounce the spelling of his name as Case, and not Casey. This makes his name Ed Case, it seems bizarre to me that a Psychic named Ed Case would be taken seriously. BTW I find his work fascinating, and hope that both he and his work are for real.

    • Belyi says:

I think the fact that his name is pronounced the way it is is that he lived in the US. For example, what we might call ‘Nike’, they say ‘Nikey’.

Where I live, his name is pronounced ‘Case’.

  3. pete fairhurst 2 says:

Ha ha! That would make him a possible blackwash agent Ian, undermining some important realities with off the wall [at least to normies] theories. Bit like David Icke and others

His book was a best seller apparently, sold millions, so that is entirely possible. No way of knowing really, but I take him at face value. Far too many verified readings to think that it was all made up, tens of thousands of them. [Although all controlled from a central archive too] Many of which make even MORE sense when read decades later

I’d say Case too, I agree with you both on that. So I asked AI for the word surname root [I know, I know…] it said

“The surname Cayce is generally considered a variant spelling of Casey, which comes from the Irish Gaelic surname Ó Cathasaigh (“descendant of Cathasach”). The personal name Cathasach is usually interpreted as meaning “vigilant,” “watchful,” or “brave in battle.”

    So the linguistic root is:

Ó Cathasaigh → anglicized as Casey → later variant Cayce

The surname became especially recognizable in the United States through Edgar Cayce.”

Which supports the “too much promotion to NOT be an agent” theory. I guess that we will never know and tbh, I don’t really care either way. His work is fascinating and so prescient and relevant to today

    • ian says:

Yes I agree, and thanks for the roots of the name Pete. I believe him to be genuine, it however be lethal in an open discussion to call him Ed Case. A bit like the undertaker, John O’Looney. Thanks to both Belyi and you for the replies.

      • pete fairhurst 2 says:

Good point Ian, Mr O’Looney was very prominent during the scamdemic wasn’t he, all over the alternative media at that time. He showed some really awful and scary stuff about clogged arteries and the like during autopsies. Made me wonder how the quacks could possibly cover that up if it was so ubiquitous as he claimed

And then, poof, gone in a flash, making me suspicious. I did wonder what happened to him, anyone know?

        • Belyi says:

Mr O’Looney’s information had to do purely with what he as an undertaker observed. If he were still commenting, it would just be going over the same ground. That is the area of his expertise.

What would be odd would be if he started talking about an alien invasion or something of that sort.

          • pete fairhurst 2 says:

I take your point Belyi, but I find it odd that nothing that he said was ever confirmed independently. He made assertions but never backed them up with anything verifiable, as far as I know

If what he said was true then, surely it would still be happening now? Some folk that I know still line up for their covid and other vaxx. “NHS told me by text to book an appointment, so I got my latest xxxx” [fill in blanks] sigh….

So there must be plenty folk still in the !00% vaxx acceptance control group. So plenty of potential evidence for embalmers. AI says 50% of uk bodies are embalmed. Which I find very hard to believe but still, plenty of embalming going on. So why the total silence since the scamdemic, other embalmers must have noticed surely

            • Belyi says:

Richard Hirshman in the US has been saying the same things about the mysterious blood clots.

As to people still lining up for the jabs, that surprises me not. My masseur, whom I would have thought would know better, swallows everything MSM produces and, unfortunately so do many parents who continue to inject poisons into their children.

Children’s Health Defense produces many videos about the injuries done to adults and children and Dr Paul Thomas recently had a conversation with a determinedly pro-vax mother. I don’t know how he kept his cool.

You can provide all the evidence in the world, but the majority of people still prefer to believe those who wear white coats and they often do sound very persuasive. Not only that but a friend was telling me the other day that although she had tried to warn her parents many times about the dangers of the covid jabs, they went ahead and now they both have turbo cancers which they insist have NOTHING to do with the jabs.

              • pete fairhurst 2 says:

                Thanks Belyi

Blood clots were an early sign but, if I recall correctly then, Mr Looney was talking consistently about plastic-like major blockages that filled arteries and veins that he found during embalming. Large white silicon type rubbery things. He said that he was extracting them. That’s what I was specifically referring to above, and I’ve not heard them mentioned since

Whatever, there’s not much doubt about the damage caused by the covid vaxx, blood clots, heart issues, turbo cancers etc etc. That all occurred after the “Warp Speed” program that Orange Man fronted. Nor about the millions of deaths worldwide either. Steve Kirsch nailed that data. He gave solid data for in excess of 20 million people

          • Tapestry says:

O’Looney is still talking suppressed by youtube algorithms to the point of invisibility.

            • Belyi says:

If he’s being suppressed, that’s a clear pointer to the fact that he could be telling the inconvenient truth.
