The Middle East is returning to status quo ante – the 1970s when Iran was the regional power

The US/Israeli attempt to create a Sunni primacy across the Middle East which started in the 1970s is going into reverse.  Hormuz is unforgiving with perfect terrain for Iran to defend and control the Strait.  There are bare rugged mountains honeycombed with fire points, artillery, Manpads as well as fast torpedo boats and mini submarines in the Gulf.

Hormuz cannot be taken by troops landing in Apaches and Ospreys.

This video is three weeks old now but it gives the background to the current situation.  Iraq is mobilising and advancing at the border of Kuwait and Syria.  If America escalates this war, the Iraqis will invade Syria. Hezbollah are wiping out Israeli tanks in Lebanon.  Hezbollah isattacking the whole of northern Israel and the settlers want to withdraw.  Israelis losing all these wars against Hamas, Hezbollah and Iran.  If Iraq joins in, the situation for Israel will become catastrophic for Israel – not enough troops, tanks being wiped out.  Iraq will occupy Kuwait.  Iran could invade UAE – (Tap- Bahrain?)

Hegseth is claiming air superiority over Hormuz.  The Iranians are slowly showing their hand – shooting down US fighters – ensuring US arrogance puts the US forces at a disadvantage.  Iranian air defences have not gone as Hegseth claims. They are hoping the idiot commits his forces so they can destroy them.  The US navy is staying well out of range.

Iran has a 1 million man army and 1 million is their militias.  They want the US and Israel to expose their forces so they can inflict a strategic defeat and become the controlling power in the Middle East as Iran was pre-1970s for thousands of years.  The age of US dominance is over – except in the media and Hollywood.  Iran has missile dominance over Israel.

Desalination plants keep the region supplied with water. If Iran hits these, Saudi Arabia would no longer be a functioning society.  UAE,Kuwait.  Iran is facing an existential threat and could use these strategies towipeout the Gulf States, and Saudi Arabia.
