Iran US – blocked passage, threats, stress – full circle back to war and economic decline

Prof. Mohammad Marandi joins to discuss the massive turn that the war on Iran has taken as the Strait of Hormuz becomes the flashpoint for major escalation between the IRGC and the US Navy.

Iran is the only country in the world that supports the Palestinians against the genocide being committed by Israel and the IDF. Libya and Syria opposed the Western empire, but Al Qaeda was used in both.

Iran was supposed to collapse in a couple of days. Yet Iran survived, despite civilian slaughter for forty days. The US started the war, and escalated against critical infrastructure. Then Iran escalated. And attacked the Gulf States that the US was using to attack Iran.

If US escalates with destruction of Iranian infrastructure, Iran will hit back again against the Gulf States, the Arab family dictatorships. The US is using their bases, and atacking Iran. Without the family dictatorships the US cannot wage war against Iran. So if the US attacks, Iran will hit back hard.

This will drive the world into global depression.

Trump makes genocidal statements for weeks – taking Iran back to the stone age.

The Washington Post put up an opinion piece saying that the Iranian negotiators should be assassinated.

In Lebanon, the Israelis are flattening homes. Not Hezbollah bases. All acts are war crimes.

A major war is close with the hot and humid season coming now. Emirates,Kuwait, Emirates, Bahrain,parts of Saudi Arabia, will all have to be evacuated, as their electrical power plants are few and the Iranians will destroy them. Human life will not be possible there without electricity.

During ceasfire Netanyahu carpet bombed Lebanon, slaughtering hundreds of people in ten minutes, women and children. (Audio cut out again during this part).

This stopped the release of hostile ships through Hormuz. Only ships hostile to Iran coudn’t go. This pressured the Americans to tell Netanyahu to accept the ceasefire. But then Trump started a siege of Iranian ports,another violation of the ceasefire agreement, and so Iran closed Hormuz again. Trump could have lifted the siege of the Iranian ports but he did the opposite breaking the ceasefire agreement again.

Iran has no shortage of missiles and drones as Iran has been preparing ever since 911 when the US invaded Iraq and Afghanistan. Gen Wesley Clark siad the US was intending to invade seven countries in five years, the last one being Iran. The West helped the US take out six of the seven countries over twenty five years.

Iran knows this war was coming for twenty five years.

Iran prepared sophisticated decoys to absorb US bombs, giving off heat in some cases.

Underground bases. Underground factories. Navy mostly untouched. Air defences are in underground tunnels.

A US ground war will not go well. The Arab Gulf states are full partners of the US and they will be wiped out.

Trump is making the economic crisis worse by the hour.

Millions of Iranians are volunteering. The militias are well armed and able to strike helicopters, low flying craft of all types and cause US casualties.

US is threatening to board Iranian ships. Yemen will close the Red Sea.

Iran will board ships too, and retaliate cutting off the Arab Gulf States.

The US will wreak havoc across the world but don’t care about anyone…except Israel.

The IDF are sniping kids in Gaza every day, battering,beating and killing Palestinians across the West Bank. In Lebanon they’re blowing up villages.

Four weeks from now the world economy will be hit and be shutting down its industries.
