The report of a humanitarian aid team taking supplies to Cuba. On retuirn to US, they were arrested at the airport and harrassed and intimidated. Phones, laptops taken. Took medical supplies and solar panels fifty tonnes. Accused of helping the regime that’s been torturing people for a while.
Other stories give the Stateside viewpoint. Trump is targeting Cuba next. Quality of life there is high with lifespan longer than in the US. Now US is turning off power even to hospitals. No fuel has reached Cuba since Venezuela. State Dept interviewer is reading his lines off a teleprompter, grilling Ryan a journalist. Hotels still have power, but not hospitals. Babies on ventilators – which need hand pumping until the generators kick in which can take five minutes.
Cuba wants the sanctions lifted. Sanctions kill.
US politicians take money from AIPAC, the Israeli lobby.
Money can come different routes. Corey Booker the new Obama. Don’t trust the ones saying corruption is the problem, as an epiphany.
