Rubio threatens Russia to cancel its spring offensive – the ‘lava flow’

What better way than to pull off a huge offensive on the front in Ukraine. Russia abided by the terms of the energy truce while Ukraine concentrated missile attacks on energy targets as soon as the energy truce was agreed. How can Russia negotiate a ceasefire when every single time NATO breaks the terms, as at Minsk, Istanbul and every other attempted negotiation to keep peace. The Russian advance is accelerating, especially to the south towards the Dniepr river. Until there is a border which is not used to launch artillery attacks on Russian civilians, there can be no peace. Even the Dniepr cannot stop artillery. Russia has no choice but to press on until the West stops killing Russian civilians. There is no border on land, only in the mind. In NATO minds, there is no border. Russia is theirs. It’s not surprising that Russia doesn’t agree. The cities of Zaporozhia and Dniepro are Ukraine’s industrial centre. If they fall Ukraine will struggle to carry on fighting a war. Russian strategy is adaptive to see where the cracks come in the enemy’s defences, and then exploit the weaknesses that appear.
What will US/UK do to counter Russia’s growing military success? Dump wants a quick ceasefire to stop Russia advancing across Ukraine. Fuckoffski says he wants an unconditional ceasefire on a daily basis! Dump is still supplying Ukraine with armaments, allowing BIden’s last drawdown to run its course. This will only last six months and then Dump must commit to sending weapons to Ukraine or there will be a bigger collapse. By summertime.
US opinion polls show Republican voters and core Dumpster voters are opposed to further support of Ukraine. Dump is unlikely to antagonise his base. US military comamnd is calling Russian military adavnces ‘the lava flow’. Inevitability the essence of that metaphor. Russia wants a disarmed Ukraine, not a frozen conflict on its doorstep. Threats and demands will make no difference to a lava flow. The Neocons and the hawks in the US suddeny all want a ceasefire. It’s too late. The Russian Teddy bear is coming West for a proper cuddle.
Alexander M seems to think the Dniepr river will act as a border, but NATO artillery shell ranges are far wider than the river. Perfidious Albion does not know how to make peace. I don’t think anyone in Russia cares about what Rubio has to say. He’s a Neocon senator and has no more idea of negotiating in good faith than the cat next door.

Not sure if that’s a compliment or not, but I take it as such.
It is however a fact that the Russian diplomats have all been trained at a special academy to fill such a role and then they cut their teeth working in junior posts. When Lavrov was interviewed a few years ago he explained all that.
It seems that no other country has an even remotely similar system. Whereas ambassadors appointed by Russia are experts, those appointed by the US tend to be the people who have contributed the most of the president’s campaign. As for an ordinary senator like Rubio, he will have received no training in how to manage negotiations and. in this case, it really shows.

The Chinese are similar, their government people are very very thoroughly trained for the tasks that they face. Russians and Chinese must be bemused by the rank amateurs in the “democratic” West
