8 March 2025 – I need you help to balance a skewed poll
Challenging the authority of Scotland and the UK in Shetland
Our local paper, The Shetland Times is running a poll entitled “Do you believe in Stuart Hill’s arguments?” It’s preceded with their usual negative spin and doesn’t even set out the “arguments” people are supposed to vote on.
There is only one FACT and that is, by The Laws of Scotland, Charles III does not have sovereignty in Shetland and no organisation working under UK or Scottish legislation can prove its authority here. That’s far too scary to print, so we have this fake poll designed to show how little support there is for me, or The Sovereign Nation of Shetland, a poll which appears to be blowing up in their face.
Despite their negative spin, the poll has had around 875 votes from this small community in the first day, of which 31% voted “Yes”. Please help to boost this figure by voting at:

We’ve made more progress on the past month than in the previous twenty years. By doing Freedom of Information requests, we have got organisations from the UK and Scottish governments downwards to adnit that they hold no information showing how the Crown owns Shetland, how Shetland is part of Scotland and how they have any business in Shetland. We have been working on ways to be able to safely turn our backs on the existing system and stay out of their courts. See www.stayoutofcourt.com You can see written proof that the prosecutor will not prosecute even routine ‘offences’.

Stuart Hill is an amazing person with a wonderful philosophy on life. I came across him in Nick Thorne’s fascinating book ‘Adrift in Caledonia’.
I wish him well in whatever he does.
Yes Belyi, its good that somebody is making a stand for the right of Shetland to be self governing, as indeed it was, until the City of London stepped in and it was claimed as part of its Scottish domain!
