It’s all tinkering around the edges. No mention of the thousands of pounds of freebies; no mention of the billions of pounds both parties have shovelled into Ukraine; no mention of the billions funnelled into the scam of climate change by both parties. UK politics is a joke, whoever wins elections.
This is not the first time I’ve noticed your negative remarks about my posts, such as “A load of fluff and nonsense.” As it is, I am extremely understanding and listen to everyone’s viewpoints politely. However, I will not put up with rudeness, so please don’t do it and present your points of view in a constructive manner.
“It’s all tinkering around the edges,” Implies, nothing worthy of mention here, move on! Well, perhaps if you had listened to both episodes then you would have had a better idea of the bigger picture.
Sorry Gordon. I meant that governments tinker round the edges, not the article. The broadcast which was interesting, on the sins of Starmer, didn’t mention things I would have found important. If he’s saying that there is a huge black hole in the UK budget left by the Tories, surely people pick up that if billions hadn’t been handed to Ukraine and important money spent on climate policies, there might not be such a deep black hole.
By saying that UK politics is a joke, I didn’t imply any criticism of you as I think many would agree with me. I remember when Farage stood for Thanet, years ago. The main parties sent all their big guns there so that he didn’t have a chance.
