    The Arab project is ending, Libya, Iraq, Syria already gone. When Egypt collapses it will be over. Collapse and depopulation will be the trend

    Syria has valuable phosphates which are exploited by Russia with Trump family help. His daughter is married to the billionaire in question

    Syria and the Shia crescent was an Iran vanity project. Syria has nothing to offer except oil which the US exploits, and phosphates which Trump family and Russia exploit

    The only reason Russia got involved with Syria was the ISIS threat. It used a now defunct private military company [Wagner I assume]. ISIS remnant now runs Syria. War technology has moved on, missiles and drones, so no worries. Control can be by remote control

    Syrians don’t fight, the “army” organises checkpoints to fleece the locals. Useless military, collapse not unexpected in Russia

    Tartus is not a good base. Plenty of other options. Why bother, bases are expensive. Russian point of view is keep an eye on Syria and act by remote control if they get out of hand

    Turkey and Russia? Force majeure, Assad quit, if there is no Syria it doesn’t matter. Syria is not a thing, it’s null and void. Turkey is a gas hub for Russia. Russia is building power plants for Turkey. Turkey is a Russia tourist destination. Turkey sell lots of fruit and veg to Russia. Syria is not relevant to any of that

    That’s just the first 25 minutes
