Buy local if you can. All my meat is high welfare and reared within 20 miles. I source from a local butcher and so avoid corporate if at all possible, don’t feed the beast….
Not so easy with fruit and veg, depends on your local area. But organic delivery from independent suppliers is widely available now…
All dry, wet and frozen/chilled groceries from a local independent organic wholefood co-operative, Suma Foods in Halifax. An ethical crew, lovely people too, who I once did business with back in my health food trade days. Minimum delivery is £450 order, they deliver nationwide from Halifax. I share my delivery with local like minded folk, so no problem. Bit more messing about but works well and definitely worth it…
