Hosting Upgrade Appeal

Dear Visitor. The Tap has become increasingly busy over the last few weeks with many more visitors and sign ups. It's currently creaking and slowing. We need a hosting account upgrade to help cope with the increased activity and keep this free blog online. In this age of great change The Tap is a valuable independent resource where we can come together and share information the controlling parasites would rather we didn't have. It would be sad to lose it but it costs to keep it going and free to use. If any of you can help donate even a small amount towards the hosting upgrade that would be a big help. Your small donation makes a huge difference. Thank you in advance. Click here to donate

Buy local if you can. All my meat is high welfare and reared within 20 miles. I source from a local butcher and so avoid corporate if at all possible, don’t feed the beast….
Not so easy with fruit and veg, depends on your local area. But organic delivery from independent suppliers is widely available now…
All dry, wet and frozen/chilled groceries from a local independent organic wholefood co-operative, Suma Foods in Halifax. An ethical crew, lovely people too, who I once did business with back in my health food trade days. Minimum delivery is £450 order, they deliver nationwide from Halifax. I share my delivery with local like minded folk, so no problem. Bit more messing about but works well and definitely worth it…
