Seems that the op was conducted in the “Gloucestershire Royal Hospital” which is an NHS hospital, I checked
The beeb blathers on about the risks and responsibilities, with a dose of the usual emoting for good measure
But the question that they don’t ask is obvious:
Why does the NHS offer vanity surgery at all?
That is surely not it’s purpose, or it’s role. At least it shouldn’t be
ps a word of caution, the unfortunate victim is stated as 33 years old, so the usual numerology then
I’ve read that the operation was carried out by someone with no qualifications and he has been arrested. The patient was taken to the NHS hospital when she collapsed but they couldn’t save her. I’m pretty sure that this sort of thing is not available on the NHS.

I read it on Yahoo which is my home page but I can’t remember the guy’s name. It doesn’t sound plausible that these ops are done in NHS hospitals when real patients are waiting for procedures for many months.

Nothing would surprise me about the dysfunctional leviathan that is the modern NHS though. It desperately needs root and branch reform. Pigs might fly…

How the mighty has fallen. I was brought up, like probably most of us, to believe that the BBC was the gold standard in reporting. Now the scales have fallen from our eyes, we see the lies that have been told over the years that we’ve gobbled up, because it was the BBC!

I don’t usually regret anything, what’s done is done after all. But in the BBC case then, I make an exception. I regret that it took me so long to realise what they really are, my conditioning was so strong
