On Wednesday, for the third consecutive day, British and American warplanes carried out bombing attacks on Yemen.
This came just hours after the Labour government of Prime Minister Keir Starmer and the Democratic Party’s Biden-Harris administration in Washington killed two people and injured five others in a bombing attack on a girl’s school near the city of Taiz, according to Yemeni media.
The ongoing Anglo-American attacks aimed to punish and prevent the Ansarullah movement’s intervenion against Israel’s genocide in Palestine, highlight how London acts as the junior partner in the American empire.
Joining us today to talk more about Britain’s role in the Israeli genocide as well as London’s increasingly draconian repression of activists supporting the rights of the Palestinian people is Matt Kennard. Matt is the co-founder and head of investigations at Declassified UK, a news website which focuses on British national security issues. He is the author of several books, including Irregular Army, which exposed neo-Nazis and other gangs recruited into the US military, and, most recently, Silent Coup, with Claire Provost, on how corporations overthrew democracy.
Since its launch in 2019, Declassified UK has published many articles centering Palestine, including reporting on Britain’s Israel lobby and exposing the participation of British military and intelligence organizations in the genocide in Gaza.

I’d never heard of Mr Kennard, so I too a quick look at his Wiki page which, for me, has some important red flags
Firstly, nothing about his family back ground other than “Kennard’s father is artist Peter Kennard, whose work can be found in the Tate Britain.” Does he not know who his mother is then? His fathers Wiki doesn’t say who she is either. The mother is often a big clue, matrilineal is often very revealing, particularly for a certain tribe. So very strange, is he hiding something?
More on Matt from Wiki:
“He was previously a fellow, and then Director, at the Centre for Investigative Journalism”. So the CIJ, nice rhyme with something familiar 🙂
And what is the CIJ? Wiki again:
“a British independent charity providing training to journalists, researchers, producers and students in the practice and methodology of investigative journalism.”
Colour me cynical, but that doesn’t sound great. Not had much success have they?
Finally, the clincher, who funds the CIJ?

It is known to be very close to the U.S. Deep State and was a major collaborator with the CIA in “cultural” projects during the Cold War”
