An interesting speech from Robin, particularly about the realignment of British politics that will follow the collapse of the current fake Conservative party’s vote. Robin looks, and sounds, like an old school Conservative to me, with his comfortable paunch and good diction. No slick face mikes for Robin either, old school hand held mike….
But he sounds a bit conflicted about the British Military though. If the Teds are the party of peace as they claim then, why are they bothered about the fact that the British Military are moribund, and almost non existent now? That is a good thing surely. Who is ever going to invade Britain now? So why do we even need an army, navy or air force of any significant size?
And why is he bothered about the Falklands? It’s not meaningfully British, just look at a map, and it serves no strategic purpose for Britain any more. Britain cannot send a flotilla next time the Argies invade anyway, it’s not got the capability anymore. Why would it ever need that capability again anyhow? Best let the Argies have the godforsaken place. The protection of the few hardy Brits who live there could surely be assured by negotiation with a peaceful negotiated handover of sovereignty
I see the army as being needed at home now. We are already invaded and under severe cultural Marxist attack. His son is in the Falklands now. He is very knowledgeable and has a photographic memory.
I don’t see how the British Army will save us from all those foreign mercenaries lined up and ready to go. Aren’t both these armies, the formal one and the undercover one, controlled by the same corrupt Cultural Marxists who infest the body politic and the whole Brit Establishment? Including the Army itself, all the big Corporations, the Civil Service, the Media, Education, Local Government and the Police too. They are a toxic infestation
The fake Conservatives might be taking a fall but the fake Labour will take over and be far worse I suspect. The two ass cheeks that Galloway talked about, and Robin referenced in his speech. Both culturally Marxist in reality whatever they say
The smaller the better for the British Army I think, that way there will be fewer oppressors when the time comes. Demobbed squaddies will maybe be on the side of freedom. Squaddies in uniform certainly won’t be, they never are, never have been either….
Also I’m not clear why Robin wants to continue the occupation of the Falklands if he’s leading a party of peace. Why not negotiate and end to the occupation? Not a vote winner I guess
I imagine he sees The Falklands as part of the realm, and also that UK is deliberately running down its forces. As the foreigners in our hotels and barracks are an army of occupation in waiting, our own army might be useful if we can elect a Teds regime.
