What are they frightened of?
There is another nominated candidate. Henry Curteis of TEDS – The English Democrats.
I guess there are no candidates from Labour, Green or Reform as they would surely be mentioned if they existed.
Henry Curteis lives in SHrewsbury and has stood for Parliament there.
We have corresponded with The Shropshire Star and they know Henry Curteis is standing, so what are they playing at?

If there really are only 2 candidates, a Tory and a Lib Dem then, you’ve surely got a great chance. Both are pretty moribund now. Tory vote has collapsed and everyone knows that Nick “Facebook” Clegg destroyed the credibility of Lib Dems when he kept Cameron in office in the 20teens. New Old Starmer Labour would be your biggest threat
Aren’t all candidates informed who is on the ballot then? Amazing if not, surely they should announce that officially?
I am so sorry Tap that your candidacy was not mentioned by the local media, as I was looking forward to a breath of fresh air blowing through the Commissioner’s Office! But I am not surprised as like the stock exchange outcomes are already predetermined! As one politician said, “If voting made a difference we would no do it!!” You may still stand a chance, as Pete said, disgruntled main party candidates may vote for you if they don’t stay at home!

It’s no surprise actually. It was the same in 2000 when we were doing UKIP. Never got a thing in The Shropshire Star despite running a regional office. The area is Freemasonic lockdown, since time began. The tiny Chronicle subsidiary of The Shropshire Star is trying to create a narrative of Lib Dem primacy!!! Lib Dems want the role of Police Commissioner abolished and yet want to be called the front runners. It’s comical. Henry Curteis is not even mentioned, yet he lives in Shrewsbury while the others live in Worcestershire. Is The Chronicle against its own town? Barmy. Are they run by Diversity Targeted automatons?
