The very crux and root of this whole problem lies at the feet of Britain and America with their Balfour Declaration which through Lord Rothschild signed over Palestine to the Zionists which they had no business doing so. It should be no surprise that the word compassion as a caring human empathy, does not appear in the Old Testament. Compassion is simply not part of the Judaic teachings.
