The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was destroyed by a direct hit by cruise missiles.
According to Avia.pro journalists, as a result of one of the missiles hitting an object in Kyiv, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was destroyed. Despite two launched anti-aircraft guided missiles, none of them could hit their target, which indicates the extremely low effectiveness of Ukraine’s air defense systems, which, in fact, did not change even after the supply of Western anti-aircraft missile systems.
At the moment, it is known that as a result of a hit by one of the cruise missiles on the building of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the building was critically damaged. The nature of the latter has not yet been reliably disclosed, however, local residents report black smoke rising from the area where the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is located and a fire that has started here.
The command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has not yet officially commented on the hit of a missile on the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, however, this is one of the few attacks on the headquarters of the Ukrainian military command, although there is evidence that a meeting was held on the territory of the headquarters at that time, in which they could take part and foreign high-ranking officers.
