This is also the achilles heel of Alexander Mercouris. Someone needs to give him the Rand Report for the take down of Russia written in 2019 I believe; Alexander repeatedly bemoans the fact that lives are needlessly being sacrificed in Ukraine but it never seems to occur to him that this is the intention. The decisions being made there are part of the plan.
