As US withdraws, the sands start shifting
Sun 4:06 am +00:00, 9 Aug 2026The secretive giant – India – formed a strategic partnership with Israel, two days before the US and Israel struck Iran.
Suspicious of ties between Turkey, Pakistan, Qatar and Egypt, non-Moslem India sees Israel as a key ally. Turkey and Pakistan have now been joined by Saudi Arabia, but not Egypt to form the new Middle East NATO, which is focused on not India but Iran.
Israel has captured all the key players into alliances in the region.
The US is withdrawing.
Russia and China support Iran.
Will any of these anti-Iran ‘allies’ break away and work towards a new Middle East Russia and China-inspired security architecture? Treaties are like women and roses. They last while they last, as De Gaulle once said.
The pressure is building.
