The Makerfield by-election in England is scheduled for Thursday, 18 June 2026. It has been a traditionally Labour stronghold, but it is also a pro-Brexit constituency, therefore, Nigel Farage’s Reform UK would seem to be front runners. However, Rupert Lowe’s Restore Britain, following a recent local election 10/10 candidate win in his home Great Yarmouth, may be a surprise bet. Then out of the blue, an ordinary and by comparison short man in the street is interviewed by an alternative media reporter, the unusually tall Will Coleshill and provided an extraordinary spontaneous monologue that certainly resonated with me and no doubt millions of others. I wonder how many in Makerfield watched the 13 minute clip. That alone may have inspire lethargy into motivation and garner significant votes. Even trillionaire Elon Musk re-Tweeted the monologue:

My reservation about Restore Britain is I’d prefer emphasis on England and Rupert Lowe seems to be yet another British politician advocating for Israel. On top of this, Frank is a Catholic while the English constitution, of which too few are even aware, is Protestant Christian based.
Was it spontaneous or can we cynically wonder if it was planned? Is Frank Wright just another scripted actor as Dr. Jonathan Jay Couey labels virtually anyone who comes to prominence online? It seems unlikely to me. He’s given a few interviews in the last week and explained he drove to Makerfield in his old Land Rover with his young son and they had planned to sleep in sleeping bags in the back for the night. I bet the son thought it was fun, camping out. Frank has his head in books as does Dr. Couey and Graham Moore. He writes and has a Substack:

If he’s a scripted actor, his script was composed by himself. He has probably contemplated his thoughts and ideas over and over and when randomly asked in the street his response was natural, spontaneous, fluent and delivered in a calm and courteous manner.
Why has Graham Moore express concern, indeed to the point of an angry outburst during his Full English Show, about what he perceives as a Catholic infested Restore Britain? Because, as he says in this video and I paraphrase, ‘Protestant Christianity is about Jesus, but the Catholic Church is about The Pope, sacrificial, cannibalistic ritual of the body of Christ and drinking his blood.’

Do we then dismiss Restore Britain? Accept Friend of Israel Andy Burnham or Friend of Israel Nigel Farage and Reform UK? Let’s be frank, it seems Rupert Lowe is also pro-Israel, so what does Rupert Lowe make of his latest advocate Frank Wright? Frank made mention of the Middle East issue during his spontaneous street interview and at 17 minutes in this conversation, he deliberating refers to ‘… the elephant in the room, Israel’:

I’m always suspicious when a character apparently pops out of the ether and suddenly goes ‘viral’, but I like Frank Wright’s clear and calm manner and made note that at the very end of this lengthy talk to Peter McCormack he optimistically states:

I propose to Graham Moore that he remain patient, support and work toward a win in Makerfield and then take the opportunity as and when it occurs to forward his argument for restoring the English constitution.

Makerfield could be the making of a new ‘King’. Andy Burnham will be another Sir Kueer Fabian sheep in another wolf’s clothing. Nigel Farage will put the cat among the pigeons, but likely be the same old same old. Should Rebecca Shepherd, I bet not a Fabian, secure victory for Rupert Lowe’s Restore Britain, wow. Though Lowe is seemingly another British Zionist, a second Restore Britain MP in parliament will be a political earthquake. Might Lowe be a controlled earthquake? Yes or no, there is a ground swell of English people who feel like and sympathise with Frank Wright.

I’d assumed that Restore are in the ring to dilute Reform and thus help the Fabian Burnham get himself crowned as King of Labour. Or is that too simplistic
That’s the accusation.
A reality is approx. 50% of voters don’t. If they can be mobilised, there could be an ‘earthquake’.
I’m gunning for the earthquake rather than Burnham or Farage. Of course, then there’s the cheating, and again the greater the turn out, the less likely a cheat can be achieved without being noticed.
The choice is Labour, Reform or Restore. I’d take Restore.
If Lowe is also just more of the same, so be it, the same old same old plods on.
Frank Wright does seem to be just an ‘ordinary’ man who might galvanise other ‘ordinary’ men and women. When ‘ordinary’ people are motivated and mobilised, it may give the upper echelons of power food for thought.

The level of cynical apathy [is that a non sequitur? whatever, you know what I mean] is off the charts now. And it increases with every passing cycle too. Too many folk know that there is something very off about the Westminster village, that it doesn’t “represent” them at all, that it has been captured by vested interests, that it is in thrall to powerful global corporations etc etc. They simply don’t trust them anymore
So it’s gonna take something special to “restore” that previous trust. Don’t know about Shepherd but his guy Lowe doesn’t hack it, he’s just another one of THEM
So settle for Burnham or Farage?
We don’t really know about Lowe. I’m as cynical as you, but we don’t know. Gt. Yarmouth is East Anglia, same as me. It was a grass roots movement. 10/10 seats won. Rebecca Shepherd runs a horse riding/stable business. She’s had problems with the local council. She joined Restore, helped leafleting and next thing there was a bi-election and she was a candidate. Hardly controlled opposition or a career politician. But, it seems Restore have boots on the ground; the locals are mobilised and she’s one of them.
Of course, it could all be nonsense, but it seems this is the scenario.
Sometimes you have to have hope.
