Are we heading back to the Stone Age?
Mon 3:20 pm +00:00, 30 Mar 2026Turkey has withdrawn from Iraq. Turkey is now looking at joining the war on Iran’s side. Erdogan is a chancer who swings with what he sees as his best interests.
The situation is getting very confusing as Wyatt Lim demonstrates.
The Middle East is already becoming a USA-free zone, and Turkeyis a litmus test.
The USA is threatening to destroy Iran’s oil producing capacity. But will they actually do this?
Iraq could invade Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia will be isolated.
Lots of details in this report. Wyatt doubts the USA will destroy the world’s economy in revenge for Iran’s strong response to its invasion.
The USA could also blockade the Straits of Hormuz, by deploying naval forces and intervening against ships released by Iran.
So far the war is just Israel,USA and Iran. The other countries declaring against Iran are only allowing the USA to use their bases, and are not participating aggressively.
Will the US back down?
The war has a long way to go. All sides have a lot of unused military capability. Venezuela is a good example. It could become easier for Iran to back down, but Iran is determined to drive the USA out of the MIddle East at this stage.
