The Israeli attack on Qatar shocked countries in the ME as US did nothing to rein in Netanyahu.
Pakistan is a close ally of China. Russia will not be bothered about that. India will be bothered.
Iran also has a close alliance with Pakistan.
India will respond to this probably by wanting closer ties with Russia, on a security level as well as economic.
Russia could bring pressure to bear on China to hold back Pakistan’s relations with India.
A complex triangular relationship.
India wants good relations with the US as well. Indian PM Modi took calls in his birthday from Russia and the US.
Russia is consistently reliable to India since Indian indepenence in 1947.
Indians and Russians like each other.
