Starmer’s offer to put boots on the ground in Ukraine after a ceasefire makes UK look pathetic
Sat 10:40 am +00:00, 20 Sep 2025Russian armed forces are closing in on many cities and building positions on all fronts. The same picture emerges on MIlitary Summary Channel reports as on DPA. Starmer’s hopes for a ceasefire agreement are clearly forlorn. Saying Britain will deploy boots on the ground once a ceasefire is agreed, is a cheap promise as there will be no ceasefire. Russia will keep advancing.
Starmer’s ‘after ceasefire’ intent to deploy means in itself that Russia will not agree to a ceasefire, as that will bring EU and UK troops into Ukraine, the last thing the Russians want.
Starmer is bullshitting and is doing all he can to disincentivise a ceasefire, as he needs the war to keep going to justify his tax rises and increases in military spending, and cover his disastrous performance as PM generally.
His weak leadership position on the economy and immigration can be shored up by warrior fakery acting as if a world statesman,.
Instead he’s making the UK look pathetic in the eyes of the world. He isn’t fooling anyone. Britain is weak and he’s making us look even weaker.
Starmer is a tyrant, says Emil. He’s right. His war position is window dressing. EU and UK are tyrannis, he says. It’s the only way they can cling on, as no one will vote for these clowns.
