I read only yesterday that UK prisons are being run by criminals from other countries and of course there was the appealing attack on prison officers by an individual who has come from goodness knows where.
I would have thought, too, that if these places are being run on taxpayers’ money, they should be open to the public. Would that not be in conformity with the law?
