The United States wants Greenland. Russia is flexing its military muscle. And China wants to secure its economic future.

But there may well be far more than that. Antarctic is already restricted and it looks like the Arctic might go the same way. If so then both poles will be controlled and restricted. Maybe a clue there
Certainly there is something strange in the Antarctic, as the stream of “elites” visiting the place shows. I can’t believe they are just going for the ice splendour and penguins. Plenty of weird stories available but precious little evidence
