Most of the Republicans in the Senate are way past their sell-by date. They should have been put out to grass long ago. That of course goes for the Democrats too. They’re all hanging onto the gravy train as long as they can and with a supine electorate, can do what they like.
They are all going to be replaced by Tech soon enough anyway. Maybe that’s why the old guard is still hanging in there, no point in training up a new set of puppets if the job is going to be redundant
