And the Reform UK MP has urged Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer to start with Pakistan, the recipient of £133m in overseas development aid.
I haven’t really followed this, but I imagine that many of the rapists and criminals from Pakistan were born in the UK and therefore can’t be deported elsewhere. You can take a second nationality away from someone, but not a first.
I think Trump has the right policy regarding the matter.
Not sure what you mean there, Gordon. Do you compare this with Trump’s booting out all the illegal aliens?
People born in the UK, and many Pakistanis have UK mothers (I’ve read a book written by one) can’t be made stateless by taking away their nationality and these are often second or third generation Brits. Not the same as people who turned up in the US a few weeks earlier.
